Before success can be expected in games, control of one's movements must be mastered.
The ZOOM lessons are all about mastering various batting tee drills which allow the student to repeat the correct sequence of movements & balance until it becomes second nature. Also, during these sessions, we will go through "dry swings" without a ball. This cultivates a mind/body connection as you slowly go through the exact mechanics of the swing as taught by Coach Chuck during the lessons. This mindful approach helps the body - or more precisely, the nervous system, to memorize and develop a "feel" for the swing movements.

Preparing for the unexpected things that happen during games starts by perfecting every aspect of your swing, including a sound mental approach during individual tee practice.

In games, natural reactions take over. Those natural reactions will be whatever is normal for your mind and body. There are many nuances in a baseball swing, so care must be taken to practice correctly. Taking reps incorrectly is counter-productive.
"Weak training leads to weak results"
Tee work is a great way to correct old habits because the fact that the ball is just sitting there without moving allows the hitter to repeat the same movement with each swing, and as training accumulates in you, a new normal replaces the old, ineffective normal.
Practicing correctly is the process - accuracy in movement is the result.
